Founded in 1982, TFN Architectural Signage, Inc. also known as Third Floor North, has grown to become one of the most respected custom signage and experiential graphic fabricators on the West Coast. This reputation is cultivated with developers, general contractors, architects, and environmental graphic design studios across the country with TFN's thorough project management, quality fabrication, and creed that echoes throughout our company: “The job is never completed until the customer and the vision is completely satisfied.” TFN Architectural Signage, Inc. consists of four major divisions that are formulated to meet each client's needs.
business development division
Closely works in developing plans with architects and environmental graphic designers to ensure proposed designs will work including value or better engineering and pre-bid budget consultation; competitive bids that stick to the proposed documents; and timetables with the primary purpose of meeting the agreed-upon deadlines and proposed budgets.
project management division
Ensures that your project is implemented to all agreed timelines and budget while developing the working drawings to adhere to all codes, ensuring safe and proper installation, and generating maximum labor productivity and efficiency based upon the mutually agreed upon project proposal.
fabrication division
Embraces over 80 collective years of fabrication experience to deliver products and paint finishes that will last well beyond TFN’s standard warranty of 3 years (which is one of the highest warranties in the business). In 2003, TFN opened a fabrication facility in Mexico to handle the increased demand by developers for labor-intensive architectural style signage that has now far exceeded the old commercial style of fabricating signs. Our shop rate is one of the lowest in the industry, however, we do put more time into all of our projects which has become the hallmark of TFN’s quality control. Responding to designers’ and developers’ requests for better quality in the industry, TFN has in some cases set the fabrication standard for limited visible fasteners, seamless construction, and quality paint finishes, which may be why TFN was awarded the Best Custom Fabricator in 2006 from the International Society of Environmental Graphic Designers (SEGD).

Dedicated to ensuring a safe, secure, and clean installation of your project. Two-man crews arrive in fully equipped and clean trucks to your job site. With the ability to expand or contract crews at any time, TFN Architectural Signage can handle all local, interstate, or even international projects. Housed in a 21,000 sq. ft. office/warehouse building in sunny Santa Ana, California, is a full staff of 45 people, including estimators, fabrication designers, project managers, artisan fabricators, and clean installers, who are aimed to exceed your expectations.
